Passage: John 12:1-10
1. Why do you think John choose to describe the location of the dinner as “where Lazarus lived, whom Jesus had raised from the dead”? Why not just say Bethany? What difference does this make to remind the readers about raising Lazarus from the dead?
2. How did Mary choose to honor Jesus at this dinner that was dedicated to him? What was Jesus’ response?
3. If you had a year’s salary or time to use for Jesus, how would you use it?
