1. In these 10 verses, the idea that if one loves Jesus, s/he will obey what Jesus commanded repeated four times (verses 15, 21, 23, and 24). Why do you think Jesus put such an emphasis on obedience? Why is obedience equivalent to love?
2. In this passage, Jesus promised that the Holy Spirit will live in the believer. Has the Holy Spirit said to you recently? Has the Holy Spirit prompted you to obey God in any specific way? Be still and listen to the Holy Spirit.
