1. If the heart represents desires, the soul represents the being, and the mind represents the thoughts, what would the greatest commandment entail? How does that look in life when practiced?
2. Through the second conversation, what can you see about the expectation of the Pharisees regarding the Messiah: human (Son of David) or divine (Lord over David)? What does this say about the appropriate attitude toward God’s plan going out of our expectation?
