Passage: Matthew 21:1-11

Reflection Questions:
1. Spreading cloaks on the road was a gesture of respect, given to kings, prophets and other holy men. Although Jesus’ entry on a donkey was gentle and humble, it was accompanied with the respect and praise worthy of a king. What can we do to acknowledge Jesus as the King in our days? What is “spreading cloaks and branches of trees on the road” in our time?
2. Does Jesus the King make you as excited as the crowd in the passage? Why or why not?
