Passage: Hebrews 2:5-18
Reflection Questions:
1. According to this passage, why did Jesus have to become human, fully flesh and blood (vv.14-17)?
2. In this passage, the author points out several key points: God made humans a little lower than angels, but he honors them and put them in charge of everything; Jesus is not ashamed to call humans his brothers because Jesus consider humans part of his family; and Jesus was determined to save his family members from the power of death. What do these key points tell you about God’s and Jesus’ view of us? Realizing this, what does it make you feel?
