You are invited to join the team from March 7-17. There are still several openings. Throughout the missions trip, you will mainly work with our missionary, Rev Joe Sze, on visitation, personal evangelism and follow up work. Languages used: Cantonese and Mandarin. Estimated cost is $1800-$2000. All adults with previous missions training or experience are welcome. The committee will evaluate each applicant. Application forms are available in the church office.
A new Sunday School will start 1/7/2010 from 10:15am – 11:15am. We will be studying the book of Galatians and Ephesians. Elder Peter Lo and Anna Leung will be teaching the class.
We will be preaching through the Book of James, emphasizing on practicing what we have learned from the Bible; and through the Book of Nehemiah, emphasizing on preparation for God’s work and a?spiritual revival from the inside out. There are also daily devotional material prepare to correspond to our church theme.? It is free of charge and make available to everyone. If you do not have it, please pick up in church office.

If so, this workshop is for you! Through this interactive workshop, Rev. Walter Lau clearly and concisely present the emotional and perceptional differences between male and female. Every Thursday at our SF campus (865 Jackson St.), there is a “Thursday Recreation Day” for adults and seniors. From 9am-1:30pm, we have various fun activities, including knitting and bead classes; sharing with special topics etc.
The Cantonese Congregation is organizing Christmas Caroling on Thursday, December 24th. Everyone is invited. We will meet in Chapel and Fellowship at San Francisco Campus at 4:30 pm for practice and a light dinner. About 6 pm, we will begin caroling around the Senior Buildings for two hour; then return to the Fellowship Hall for refreshment. Please sign up in the window of Church Office.
San Francisco Campus will hold a 2010 New Year Combined Worship and Luncheon on Sunday, Jan 3rd. The worship will start at 10 am. The luncheon will start at 12:30 pm. everyone is welcome to attend the worship even if you will not stay for lunch. Luncheon tickets are available in the patio. Lunch Tickets for adults: $20, Youth (12-17 yrs old): $15, Kids (5-11 yrs old): $10. Toddlers/infants (4 yrs and under), please go to the Church Office to get free tickets.
