1. Twice in this short passage, the midwives were described as ones who feared God. Why would they fear God who is unseen and not Pharaoh who can be seen and felt?
2. Though God is unseen, whose plan prevailed – God’s or the Pharaoh’s? What did God do to the midwives? What does this say about God and those who fear him?
