1. On a literary level, Jesus’ answer to his earthly parents makes an interesting point: the place to search for and find Jesus is in the Father’s house. Where have you been searching for Jesus? What have you found?
2. Though Jesus is the Messiah-God, he chose to be obedient to his earthly parents. What does this show about Jesus? How can you follow Jesus’ example?
