1. Through the sacrifice of Isaac, what can you learn about the relationship between Abraham and God? Between Abraham and Isaac? Between God and Isaac?
2. On whom else was the description “one and only son whom you loved” used? In light of the fact that God stop the sacrifice of Isaac, but did not stop the sacrifice of his own son, what does that say about the relationship between the Father and the Son? Between the Father and us?
