Passage: John 19:28-29
Reflection Questions:
1. In this passage, it said when “all was now completed,” Jesus finally said he was thirsty. In the previous utterances of Jesus, the focal point was always on others. What does this fact say about Jesus’ attitude toward us? Who is the priority for the King of the universe, us or him?
2. Notice that at the beginning of Jesus’ ministry, he was tempted and starved for forty days, and at the end of his ministry, he was thirsty. How does it make you feel that God said Jesus’ work was his expression of love for you?
