The Basic Seminar users real-life stories and practical diagrams to show how every problem in life can be traced to seven non-optional principles found in the the Bible. Every person, regarless of culture, background, religion, race, education, or social status, must either follow these principles or experience the consequences of violating them. By explaining principles rather than rules, individuals are equipped to make wise choices and avoide failure. Parents and teens have learned to understand each other. Husbands and wives have strengthened their relationship. Pastors gain insight into problems they are facing in the church. Everyone can benefit from this...

Cumberland Presbyterian Church will host a Marriage Enrichment Retreat during the Memorial Day Weekend (5/28-30) at Sheraton Pleasanton Hotel, ( 5990 Stoneridge Mall Road , Pleasanton). The seminar will be led by Pastor Walter & Ada Lau and Ning & Rosa Sizto, who are certified teachers through Chinese Family for Christ. The cost is $365 per couple for three days and two nights for food, lodging, and reading materials. If you are interested in going, application is available in our church office. The seminar will be conducted in Cantonese.

Next week 3/27 is Senior Appreciation Sunday. We will honor all our senior age 62 and up on that day. Luncheon tickets will be distributed today at patio.
